About Us

Health Quarters opened back in 2010 in a small studio in Ballaghaderreen. Since then the small business has flourished with 4 locations spotted around Roscommon, Mayo and Sligo. The gym has grown along with the fast changing fitness industry and is known for its “HQ effect”. Not only has it the best of instructors with top class equipment, facilities and instructors, the welcoming atmosphere is what people love about the place. Being comfortable and welcomed into a new facility is so important and to maintain a good relationed with all their wonderful clients. Each instructor has passion for their job and that shows big time.

HQ Ballaghaderreen of where it all started. This top class facility has fitness classes for all levels and abilities. Personal training is a massive part of HQ and works around your busy schedules and lives. The new refurbished gym floor has the best equipment for gym floor users. The best of equipment and the best of staff are in HQ Ballaghaderreen.

HQ Tubbercurry

HQ Tubbercurry opened their doors in February 2020, only weeks before a long lockdown. Thankfully it has come strength to strength and become a staple in the town of Tubbercurry. This facility focuses on their tailored fitness classes like bodypump, teen fitness, spinning, strength and conditioning and much more. There is no gym floor here as it focuses solely on small group personal training on its gym floor facilities.

In HQ+ we are motivated to get the best version of yourself. Help you understand the numerous benefits to strength training, it has been demonstrated that strength training 2-3 times per week has the ability to reduce certain chronic diseases such as osteoporosis, heart disease, arthritis and diabetes. Ability to enhance your mood and sleep helping you improve your life outside of the gym
We want people to be able to see their effort they put into the gym. See how you progress each week and build a gym that brings motivation and consistent commitment to training.
Our two main classes, strength class and conditioning class are done on a 4 week plan tailored to each client based on their ability. Each session we will look to improve progressively throughout the month. The HQ+ goal is to get you stronger and moving you better
